I learned long ago that I was divinely created as a helper of women...

That doesn't mean that I don't help all - female, male, non-binary. It just means that my biggest passion lies in helping women. Women throughout history have been marginalized. Lower pay for the same work as our male counterparts, not in control of our own decisions about our own bodies, and now we're fighting again for the same rights that we had to fight for years to attain. So yeah - women are my focus.

As a Black woman, obviously the plight of Black women is key for me. But what I share can help all people.

I am a healer - a Sangoma - of a different breed. I am not here to heal you. I am here to give you the tools to heal yourself. You must do the work for yourself! And in doing so, you will become healed enough. Are we ever completely healed? Not really... Being healed enough is the goal here. As Rumi said: "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." I guide you in how to acknowledge that Light and live from that space rather than living from the space of hurt caused by that very wound.

You see, I am a sur-thriver of domestic violence. I am THRIVING and not just surviving... And in my nearly 60 years on Mother Earth I have been through some chaos. Stories better told in a different setting, but stories of over coming some deep shit. How was I able to overcome the domestic violence and other challenges that life served me? Through implementing Intentional Creativity® in my day to day living. I practice intentional art and acts in all that I do, and I am here to share this goodness with you too.

I call myself a Priestess because I am a spiritual being, paying homage to the Divine Source of Life and the Ancestors in all that I do. I have a creative spiritual practice that involves creative acts that are a veneration to both Source and Ancestors. And I am the Priestess of my own Spiritual Path. My voice and my choice for how I show great respect and reverence to that which is divine. And it is all done through intentional art and acts.

So what is this thing called Intentional Creativity®?

Intentional Creativity is an approach to your life where intentional art and acts lead the way to a deeper understanding of Self and how you choose to live your life. It is your choice after all... Paintbrushes are my magic wands and the canvas or art journal is where I contemplate what is going on in my life and the portal to how I will respond, and then how I integrate the wisdom offered to me. Everything I do, I do with intention. I cook a meal with the intention of nourishing my body. I light a candle on my Ancestors altar with the intention of paying respect to those who walked before me, paving the way. I create art with the intention of working out what may be sitting heavy on my heart and mind.

It has been scientifically proven that art heals. And the good news is you don't need prior experience, talent, or skill to create beautiful works of art. Trust me on this one! Remember the story on the Home page of me painting for 6+ hours in stilettos? That was the first time I had ever put brush to canvas and I was amazed at the gorgeous image that I was able to manifest. The Intentional Creativity approach makes manifest what lies within. It is a tool to bring those things forward while focusing on the possibilities that your life has to offer rather than sitting in the pain of what is or has happened to you. But you need to be open to that WOW factor - to receive the Whisperings of Wisdom.

I invite you to take back the pen and become the author of your own life. Stop allowing society and pressure from friends, family, and loved ones to write the script for you. This is your life and it is your right to live your life your way. You do have a choice in all of this. But until you decide to become the narrator, your life will be guided by someone else's voice. Reclaim the pen! And thereby, reclaim your Self.

Why the strong push to travel to Afrika?

Marcus Garvey said it best: "A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots." We all know that the stuff that is taught about Afrikan history in textbooks has been white washed. Hell - they're trying to remove it from children's textbooks altogether! The only way you will ever know the Truth (capital T!) is to research for yourself. That research MUST involve at least one trip to the Motherland. Before Afrika was colonized, its name was Alkebulan: "Mother of Mankind and the Garden of Eden." Like - who wouldn't want to step foot in the Garden of Eden?!? It is on the continent of Afrika - the birthplace of mankind - that you will find the Truth. Rather than looking at depictions of what the abducted Afrikan people went through, see it for yourself. Touch the walls and the bars that held them captive. Visit the dungeon hidden below the streets of Afrika where the Afrikan people were hidden after the Transatlantic Slave Trade was supposed to have been outlawed so that they could continue using human beings as commodity. See with your own eyes and learn the unadulterated Truth of your Ancestors.

Now, to be honest, my plea for you to return Home to Afrika is for the people of Afrikan Diaspora. But really everyone can learn traveling there. As I see it, however, it is an imperative for Black people. An intentional act to reconnect with the Ancestors no matter how strong your current connection. If you are open to it, you will hear the wisdom that the Ancestors want to impart to you. You may even be given a Sacred Assignment - something that you may not realize unless you travel Home. This is my Sacred Assignment, given to me during my first trip Home in 2024. But I was overwhelmed by grief and anger to be able to understand the Assignment. Thank Goddess I had the tools of Intentional Creativity to help me process what I saw and experienced that year! Then in 2025 when I returned to Ghana, my Sacred Assignment was clarified and clearly outlined.

It is with the launch of The ART of Wysdom that I have embarked on the path to carry out my Sacred Assignment. ART is an acronym that stands for Ancestral Reconnection & Transformation. I give you the creative tools (art) to assist you in reconnecting with the Ancestors and in that Reconnection you will be Transformed (ART). Will you join me in creating beauty for your life through the gentle daily process of living with intention in all that you do?

I am glad you are here and that you are seeking Your Truth. Only you can realize and define what that is for your life. I look forward to witnessing the new story that you will write for your life!
